The Canadian Tier-1 Centre Portal provides access to modest storage and computing resources in a secure environment. The primary objectives are to establish collaborations with  non-academic organizations so they can try out some of the innovative technologies that are used by the Worldwide LHC Computing Grid (WLCG) around security, data management, data processing and efficient software distribution.

The Tier-1 Centre is a dedicated data-intensive facility operated 24/7 by SFU and TRIUMF. The Centre  is used to store  and process vast amount of data from the ATLAS experiment at CERN.
